...for the kids and we will be all set. We are having an issue with our USCIS office trying to get our ammended home study updated and processed in time. We have had an issue with our I-171H and have been trying for 2 weeks to correct it. As of today, everything is corrected and at the Visa Center in the US where, hopefully, it will be processed by tomorrow in time for us to get the visas and make our Thursday flight! We are looking at 65 days in country!!
The kids seem to get better every day concerning their behavior issues. We have had two tearless nights!! Praise God! They are doing well spending their energy during the day which leads to better nights. They are also referring to things in there english names. We make them repeat the names of food (in english) before we give them any. We are also finding out the kids know more english than they originally let on. The stinkers! When walking down the street, we will say something like "move to one side" or "stop", "wait" and the kids respond.
They are also practicing "looking" like Americans. Colton picked out some "american" jeans at the store and wanted his hair spiked up with gel this morning. Aizley thinks all americans wear their hair down and refuses to put her hair into a pony tail even though I am wearing my like that! She is still "Miss Independent" and likes to pick out her own clothes in the morning.
Praying for passports to be done tomorrow so that we can apply for visas.
Also praying that the Visa center in the US processes our request today so that we can make our flight Thursday...

Ahhhh brings me back to the joys of waiting on the backend in Kiev. I think the 10 days we waited were the longest days of my life! Entertaining 4 small children in a small apartment located on a very busy highway! Hold tight..you are sooooo close!
Glad to hear things are going well. Just in time to flip their world upside down again by changing their internal clocks and surroundings! Go easy on yourselves, its going to take some time. Patrick had night unbelievable night terrors for the first two months. Knock on wood, he has not had one in months! The acclimate really well and fast!

I too am praying for you to complete your paperwork and visas/passports so you can return home on Thursday.
I laughed at Aizley and Colton holding back on their language. Too bad we cannot read their minds as I think it would be comical to see their strategys for holding back.
