January Snow....

Well, what have we been doing the past couple of weeks? Mostly, nothing. We have had more snow fall this year than anytime I can remember. I LOVE IT!!! I am so a misplaced Maine islander! The kids love it too; however, they think it's silly how we get out of school for every little flurry. Whenever they see or hear any mention of snow in the weather, they say "there's no school tomorrow, I just know it!!"

Since both kids brought home great report cards and Colton actually won an award for his attentiveness in class, a huge mild stone for my little guy, we've let them just enjoy their days at home and at Nana's doing whatever they like. Mostly we've let them watch their new dvd's on their new dvd players, they've played their new games and are now officially ready to go back to school.

We've really enjoyed our extended vacation time together but it will totally be amazing if they can make it to school all this week (insert the enthusiasm here)!!!
