Easter Weekend...

Well, it was a holiday which means we had to get together with family and EAT!! Since it was absolutely beautiful outside, we decided to barbecue. The tradition is that Aunt Murphy hosts the Easter get together under her ever so tall shade trees and all the kids bring as many eggs as they can for egg hunt. This year, we had over 260+ eggs for the kids to find.

Waiting on the grub...

Aizley, Colton, Cousin Treyton and beautiful Elena adopted from Vlad, Russia

With their pork chops eaten, they are anxiously awaiting the "go"...

Baby Braxton really getting into the egg hunt. He had more fun watching the big kids run around that actually looking for eggs!

I love this picture!! It really captures the thrill of the hunt!

Aizley surveying her surroundings. She is a shark at egg finding!

We stayed until 8 eating, talking, playing on the trampoline, eating some more, passing a football and, of course, eating again! By the time we got home, we only had to tell the kids once to wash up for bed. They were beat! This gave the Easter Bunny time to stop by for a visit. The bunny usually brings the most practical gifts. This year, the kids each got their very own stuffed rabbit, an alarm clock, so "booties", bubble gum and wash cloths. I think he did an awesome job arranging the baskets!

Despite a rough start to the morning, we had a very nice Easter day at home. After dressing up in our Sunday Best...

Aren't they sweet?!

...we hunted eggs in our own yard while waiting on the Turkey Taco Casserole to finish.

Ok, totally cute shoes spoiler...

At the end of the day, we had great memories of our 2nd Easter together. Hope you had a wonderful holiday as well!

Slava Bogu!!

Happy Easter!

Aiz looks SO grown-up. Tell her to stop that. Now.

Is Elena a new cousin? What a blessing!
