We cleaned the house, thorougly. We have our "spring cleaning" done. We cleaned out closets, prepared a huge bag of clothes to donate to good will, got rid of toys we no longer play with, moved the couches around and put my new Pet Hair Eraser Vaccuum Cleaner to the test! I love it!!
We also ventured outside in the 9 degree weather to water the moma cow behind the house and headed down to the pond to break the ice so the horse could have a drink. While there, we decide, as per moma's example, to do a little redneck puddle surfin'. Just find a puddle that's been frozen over, take a running start and try staying up with your work boots on. It's a blast (and much safer) than traditional skating here in the south. Check out our advetures with some pics from Aizley's new camera (I told you Santa was generous!)
Colton's attempt...
...and wipeout!
Here goes Aizley...
...and wipeout!
Despite this being one of the most unflattering pics, I had to show them how it was done!
Don't you love when your animals look at you like your crazy?! Ringo's thinking "...and these are the people watching over me?"
They had a blast and even let me get a precious "act like you love each other" pic.
We then walked on down to Nana's to check on the pups and to get the four wheeler and sled out of the basement, but it was so cold we couldn't get the four wheeler to start so we truged on back home for beef stew and "Spiderman Movie".
Tonight, the forecast calls for a dusting of snow. Looks like no school tomorrow. Do you hear the shouts of joy in the background?!
