Preparin' for the snow! We got almost 5 inches!
Sleddin'
After playing outside all day, the kids were more than willing to go in. They were ready to snuggle for a while and get warm while having their snack. After a few attempts at throwing the blankets over each others head, they decided to make a fort (with a little help from moma). They then sat the tv in the floor and watched "A Bug's Life" while munching on Nerds candies and "popcorm".

Playin' "Coyote" (Aizley's reading story this week is focused on a coyote)
Of course, they are out of school today so they will be back outside. They love getting dressed up to go outside. Aizley loves wearing my boots (they are actually about 2 sizes too big but she can wear several pairs of socks to keep her toes warm) and Colton loves running around looking at all the animal tracts in the snow while "following the yellod brik ro-d" set forth by the animal tracts (the Wizard of Oz is one of his absolute favorites).

The kids look so cute! We did not get snow this weekend and it was much to cold for the kids to play outside for an extended time;(
Lots of Memory, tic tac toe, and other board games!

nothing new here weatherwise. same dismal sky as every other day with no end in sight! but thanks for the encouragement on the girls.We have decided we want to bring them home. Which means we cant bring madeline home but I am as ok with that as I can be(wont ever be totally ok because she is where she is) your pics of the kids were great. now share with me your ideas on how to raise enough funds to get my beautiful girlies home.
How fun! We enjoyed the snow too. Loved the pictures of Aizley and Colten. Such cuties. And, what a great idea with the fort. We'll have to try that!

Great pictures!! Looks like you guys are having fun. The kids are growing so fast - must be all of that healthy food, exercise and LOVE!! Aizley is going to be a knockout - watch out! We're coming up quickly on one year now - can you believe it?
