The kids are still doing amazing! We had our first real thunderstorm since returning home. They were pretty worried about the wind. A flower pot blew over and broke and all the weeds :) the kids had picked for me went everywhere. They seemed more concerned about that in the end so we went on another "scavenger hunt" around the farm and ended up at Nana's playing with Pa Riley and the 5 hunting beagles. What a great day.

We have been slowly introducing new things to the kids. We made our first trip to Wal-Mart Thursday in search for Sunday shoes. They did really well and couldn't believe all the shoes they could choose from. We have found out Hannah Montanna is a favorite of Aizley's. She hasn't seen an episode since she has been with us. Colton loves Batman and Ben 10. Who knew? We are meeting the great grandma tomorrow for Bar-B-Q. Tonight is Lasagne and corn with garlic bread. "Laz-ah-ya is good" to quote the kids!
Gotta go, the oven timer is going off. "Laz-ah-ya is good"!!

aww! i was just commenting on another blog where their dog died & wrote about MY black lab that died age 3 back in 2003.
so glad to see more of the kids adjusting well & having fun! they look so much happier in these pictures than they did in the beginning. they're lucky to have you... and i'm sure i don't have to remind you that you're blessed to have them. ;-) amazing how God knew all those years ago that those newborn babies wouldn't grow up in ukraine, but in the u.s., in YOUR family, YOUR home. i wrote about adoption in my latest entry, if you want to check it out. :-)

There couldn't be a place more idyllic to raise your children. I am LOVING your pictures and updates of your kids! :-D
Beautiful! I love hearing how you all are doing. The kids look like they are thriving. :-) Where do you live? Beautiful!
Cornethia-- I love your stories about the kids. I know you are busy-- but keep them coming! SHort and Sweet--- and you will cherish them years down the road.
For an extra treat-- the kids may enjoy sweet condensed milk over their waffles, oatmeal, or pancakes. My Russian and Ukrainian cuties love it!
