County Fair...

The "lack" of activity around our house has paid off. Both of the kids are doing exceptional this year with their classes, homework and behaviors. And that "attitude bug" has finally made its way through our family. Thank goodness!! With fall approaching, there is soooo much outside fun to be had I would hate for us to miss out.

As a reward, we headed to the fair.

First stop, the livestock exhibits. Colton has to always check out the chickens.

Making our way through the petting zoo, Aizley had to feed the camels.

With chickens in our rear view and the camels and squealing piglets sufficiently fed and rubbed, we headed down to the midway where we meet up with Aunt Ari and cousin Kaylee.

As soon as Kaylee and Aizley got together, they were gone. "We are riding all the BIG rides, mom!"

While my Aizley is a daredevil at heart, with no fear of any kind, my little Colton was with Aunt Ari riding the not so wild rides. He was amazed at the glass house..

He, despite my warning, tackled the haunted house ride like a champ!

Next, to the tilt-a-whirl..

While watching Colton do dizzying circles on the tilt-a-whirl, I heard "mom, we're riding this!"

Kaylee and Aizley were in line for this ride. It was Papa approved!! You get in a bucket and the bucket turns round and round while the large machine is turning in circles and rotating!!! I couldn't even watch it go!! There were teens getting off the ride and running behind the ride to be sick!!

Other than looking a little disheveled, they had a great time! Can you believe it?!

One more quick ride on the Himalaya..

... and we made our way back up the midway. I let the kids use their own money on a game a piece. Colton won this cute alien from the "Fish Pond".

While Aizley threw darts and won a "Bed Bug".

As a treat for myself, we stopped for cotton candy at 9 at night before heading home.

One the way, we passed a sign for the pumpkin patch. I can't wait!!
